Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who is highly proficient in n8n and has at least two years of hands-on experience building automation workflows. You will work with a variety of Australian clients, collaborating closely with an Account Manager to design, develop, and implement AI and automation solutions that drive business efficiency.
Design, develop, and implement AI and automation workflows using n8n.
Work closely with clients to understand their internal processes and translate them into automation solutions.
Integrate various tools, APIs, and third-party applications into automation workflows.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing automation processes.
Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless client communication and project execution.
Document processes and workflows for internal and client use.
Stay up to date with the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in n8n and workflow automation.
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
Familiar with working with APIs from platforms such as HubSpot, Xero, Outlook, Gmail, and Airtable.
Experience working with tools such as OpenAI, Vapi, Cal.com, PostgresSQL, and other automation-related third-party services.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in a client-facing role.
Ability to work remotely with Australian-based clients and team members.

Familiarity with HR tech, finance automation, or sales workflow automation.
Proficiency in Miro for creating workflow drafts.
Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced consulting environment.

Salary range: Up to AUD 2,500 gross
