Responsibilities
You will help ensure that the company is set up to create a high-quality product. Working closely with the Development Manager and QA Guild Chair, quality will be boosted through sourcing, hiring and onboarding the best candidates, evaluating and evolving our quality strategy/processes and mentoring our QA Engineers.
You are hands on and love working within development teams. We work agile and you know what this means for the QA role. You will shape and drive the testing processes in your teams - aligning with colleagues across R&D where necessary.
You have an eye for detail and can articulate your approach to non-technical stakeholders. You understand the value of collaboration and soliciting opinions and approaches that may differ from yours. Your passion for quality extends beyond scripting simple manual or automated tests.
Your impact will be felt; you will drive initiatives and improvements across the wider our community.
Requirements
You have mentored and grown a team of excellent QA Engineers;
You are an experienced QA Engineer with strong, hands-on manual and automated testing experience;
You have good development skills and solid knowledge of Web and API automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Protractor and Rest Assured);
You have contributed to the definition and development of an efficient and effective QA strategy within an organization.
Good English communication skills
Benefits
Salary range: 2 – 4 years: up to USD 2,100 gross
5 – 9 years: up to USD 2,900 gross
