Responsibilities
Experience in B2B Sales within the travel industry.
Good connection and network with the Travel Agent and Tour Operator.
Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities by evaluating travel companies' needs.
Actively promoting company products through cold calling and identifying more selling possibilities.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services as per the local area requirements.
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences.
Negotiate/close deals and handle queries from start to finish by coordinating with the operation teams.
Collaborate with overseas team members to achieve better results.
Gather feedback from Travel Agencies or prospects and share it with internal teams.
Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new products.
Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English.
Should be able to achieve targets given by the head office.
Requirements
Must have a passion for tourism.
Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments and be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty.
Must demonstrate willingness to work as an individual and in a group.
Must have a strong desire for tourism sales with a focus on career and industry growth.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
Ability to establish/develop selective selling techniques for soliciting events and groups during dates most beneficial to the local visitor economy.
Ability to make verbal presentations to groups of various sizes.
Will demonstrate exceptional skills in sales, customer relations, communications, and problem-solving.
Ability to project and recognize potential problems and implement corrective action.
